Reflection

Reflection

Since having Professor Brady last semester, I expected to learn many things throughout the semester. Now that the semester is over, I can say that I wasn't wrong. Many things have been thought throughout the semester such as the different types of oppression, how short stories furthered women's movement, and the importance of poetry in society. These forms of literature have helped me develop a new perspective. A new perspective about society and how others perceive it.

This semester has really helped me develop as a thinker. Some of the Pub's pushed me to think out of the box and forced me to be creative. Which I think is very important in developing/improving ones writing skills. Even though I haven't talked much this semester, I am more open to talking during presentations because I have gotten used to Professor Brady and her feedback. The workshops as well have helped me communicate with others.

Ideas that have stuck with me this semester are ones from the fishbowl. I say this because when people are exchanging information in the fishbowl it's like a diffusion on info between different people's perspectives. Idea's that I will take outside of the classroom is that deadlines are closer then they seem to be. In five years, i expect myself to a more developed writer and more free thinking. Finally, I would like to thank professor Brady for helping me along these past two semesters. I'll never forget them!
